- If your chaffle sticks to the surface, it will usually release if you just let it cook another minute or two.
- As soon as you are done cooking your chaffles, unplug your waffle maker and lay a damp paper towl or cloth across the hot surface and close the lid.
- When it is done steaming, wipe the surface with a dry towel.
- If there is any remaining residue left, you can use a soft toothbrush or a Q-tip to clean the grooves of the waffle maker.
