Cooling, Storing & Reheating

  • If you are cooking multiple chaffles, use an air fryer to keep them warm while the rest of your chaffles cook.
  • If making chaffles to store, use a cooling rack and let them cool completely first.
  • Chaffles can be stored for about a week in the fridge.
  • Freeze method #1 – Freeze chaffles between pieces of parchment or wax paper, or lay them on a with a piece of wax or parchment paper.
  • Freeze method #2 – Lay chaffles in a single layer on a sheet pan and then put into bag or container once individually frozen.
  • Use a toaster, toaster oven, chaffle maker or an air fryer to reheat crispy chaffles
  • Use a microwave to reheat soft chaffles (don’t overcook).
